The mission of Ama Foundation is to provide a loving home and education – and for our older children who have benefited from living in a loving home, the current focus is “Education” with a capital E!
We’re all inspired by the accomplishments of Sharada KC, one of our first Ama Ghar children, who just went through her commencement from Medical School on Friday, December 20. Of course, Shrawan Uncle and Bonnie Auntie attended and took plenty of pictures, just like any other proud family. All of us in the Ama Ghar family remember Sharada as a younger child, always studying, working so hard, and never being happy with being anything but #1 in her class… her dedication and work ethic are admired by us all. We fully expect that she will be an outstanding physician, and we already know that she’s an outstanding human being.
We are so pleased and proud of Sharada, but also of our other children who are working so hard to become productive, self-supporting citizens. Enjoy these photos – we couldn’t accomplish these once in a lifetime, dream-come-true moments without your help.
