The Ama Foundation funds Ama Ghar, a permanent care home in Nepal for at-risk children who have been abandoned, trafficked, or have lost their home and family to poverty, substance abuse or illness.
We are dedicated to providing these children with a loving home, an excellent education, health care, and the confidence to become productive, self-supporting adults.
The future is bright at Ama Ghar.
At Ama Ghar, each child is treated as an individual. Their talents and interests are encouraged, they receive individual mental and physical health care, and we take an active interest in their education, from attending parent-teacher conferences to providing private tutors when necessary. They have the support to develop the skills they need for a bright future.
Meet the Children

“I am very thankful to everyone who has been a part of my life, helping and supporting me directly and indirectly. Without you all, I wouldn’t be here today. Thank you to all the people around the world who supported Ama Ghar. Without your help, I would not be graduating. Your support has given me a new life. Once again, thank you so much. I just want to tell my brothers and sisters from Ama Ghar that no matter what your background is or what you have been through, all that matters is what you do now. Never lose hope or miss out on opportunities. Always give your best, and your dreams will come true.”

Support a Child at Ama Ghar

Amazing place with amazing children. A testimony to what love and
persistence can achieve. Long may Ama Ghar live to nurture the children of today and be there for the children of tomorrow.
