A group called the One World Theatre presented the opera, entitled Arjuna’s Dilemma. Billed as the most exciting event in Kathmandu’s cultural calendar, world renowned opera performers offered a trilingual rendition of the Bhagavad Gita. Lyrics were sung in Sanskrit, English and Hindi accompanied by a blend of Indian and western classical and jazz. It was a captivating and intriguing mix of musical and performing styles – perfect for Kathmandu and our cultural blend – and all the children had different opinions and understanding of the performance.

Everyone enjoyed it – it was a beautiful evening at Patan Durbar Square and a great outing that will be remembered for a long time.
