At Ama Ghar, we grow a portion of the rice that we eat, which makes sense because of our location in the beautiful valleys and rice fields of Godavari, about sixteen kilometers outside Kathmandu. As soon as the monsoon comes and turns the fields to mud, it’s time to plant the new seedlings.
As you can see from the photos, everyone gets involved – some of us are very diligent and some of us just can’t help having fun in the mud!
