So many of our older Ama Ghar children are doing wonderful things that we’re going to start providing profiles of them and their activities. As donors and members of our Ama Ghar family, you should feel proud at the accomplishments of Pabita, who was recently selected to take part in an organization called Women LEAD. This organization teaches young women leadership skills and helps them to move forward in selecting a career; when we spoke with Pabita in August, she was very interested in marketing and participated in a spirited and intelligent conversation about marketing techniques.
And now we find that she was selected by her college newspaper to conduct interviews of some of the most famous athletes in Nepal. First she interviewed Ms. Sangina Baidya, the first Nepali player to qualify for the Olympics in Taekwondo. And pictured in these photos is her interview with Bimal Gharti Magar, one of the members of the National Football (Soccer) Team of Nepal, who is just 16 years old and has already made a name for himself by scoring against Pakistan in the SAFF Games.
Congratulations on your accomplishments, Pabita – we know you will have many more!

Dearest Pabita Bahini,
I am so very proud of you for your accomplishments as a journalist! But, I am certainly not surprised! Your warm personality and interest in the world around you are perfect characterists for a writer.
Much love,
