    Ti’s Excellent Ama Ghar Adventure

    October 2, 2013

Here’s a wonderful note we got from Titus Ellison, our Uncle Ti’s son, who visited Ama Ghar this summer… we love this!

“Ama Ghar was one of the best places I’ve ever been. Although the rest of Kathmandu was crowded and noisy, it was very peaceful in Godavari village. I had so much fun and I liked the simplicity.

In my first couple days there I already started noticing the huge difference between Nepal and America, but it was a good difference. Life in America is complicated and fast when Nepal is much slower and easy to take in. It is a simple way of life and it works out great.

The best part about Ama Ghar was playing with the kids. I had tons of fun and even though I don’t know everyone’s names yet, I have memories of every one at Ama Ghar. I was almost never bored, because there was always something to do, whether it was playing on the jungle gym, or playing football with the boys.

All in all I think Ama Ghar is one of the best places in the world and I would give anything to go back.” — Titus Ellison
