For all of you who have been concerned, here’s the good news: the repairs to the roof of our Ama Ghar home are complete! We replaced the tile on the small roofs with metal. It looks nice and will be much more practical.
The total cost was only $2,500 (labor and materials. With the help of the children, we managed to salvage enough whole tiles to do most of the repair and we used all the broken tiles to fill the holes in the road – so we won’t have giant potholes during the monsoon. We’re back and better than ever!
