Nepali New Year comes in the spring, so the children truly enjoyed their spring vacation. The new little ones (especially our energetic group of younger boys) were in constant motion with their various games and activities.
Boys and girls play well together and it is heart warming to see them make up games and entertainment with items from the house and garden. They play a tag that involves throwing a bunch of weeds they have wrapped together, and everyone was thoroughly entertained by decorating and blowing up Bonnie Auntie’s surgical gloves to create makeshift balloons. Of course, we had to make mo-mo’s, everyone’s favorite treat – and the children did their annual exchange of winter clothes for summer clothes.
And then – all good things must come to an end… everyone went back to school.
