Although many of our older ones have left Ama Ghar for the wider world, we are still managing 16 teenagers who are getting closer to making life decisions and eventually leaving Ama Ghar themselves, a scary prospect for many of them.
During the holiday, four boys and twelve girls engaged in a three day camp that offered many challenges as well as a lot of fun activities. Through outdoor activities they learned teamwork, self confidence and the rewards of accomplishing a predetermined task and schedule.
They all returned in good spirits and beaming with accomplishments.
