Kamal, age 7, arrived at Ama Ghar with his sister Maya in March of 2023. The two children had been rescued from an area populated by people who pick through garbage to survive. They were a bit fearful when they arrived, but by the second day Kamal was engrossed in playing Legos! He is very bright and we expect he will do well at home and at school.
