“Education is the passport to the future”, for some kids, this “passport” is in their hands since they are born. However, for Nepali children living in poverty, when survival remains the primary task, education becomes a luxury. 

But, we at Ama Ghar Foundation are convinced that education should be accessible to every child regardless of gender or economic circumstances, and it’s the key to getting out of poverty. 

The Ama Ghar Community Scholarship program aims to ensure that every local child can access quality education. Since its inception, we have helped many children to get an education in our local community school, some of them have become electrical engineers, I.T. professionals, trekking guides, nurses, and doctors, and they have achieved incredible headways in their life thanks to the kind donations that come from all over the world.
