When children arrive at Ama Ghar they have suffered the effects of poverty, malnutrition, trafficking, drug abuse, mental and often physical cruelty, and our mission is to help them overcome these obstacles through the transformational power of love... as well as a good education, nutritious food, counseling, mentorship and medical care. We invite you to share our joy as we watch them blossom from frightened victims into happy, healthy, confident kids, thanks to you. And we not only give them a childhood, we give them a future - a chance to achieve their dreams - by supporting their education as far as their talents can take them. To date, children who have completed our program are all self-supporting adults, whether they're doctors or trekking guides... but they can't do it without you.
