In honor of International Women’s Day, we celebrate Menuka, one of our first Ama Ghar children, who has created a teaching career and a productive life for herself.
Menuka worked hard to earn a teaching certificate, taught at our local primary school while getting her Bachelors and now has moved to Pokhara with her husband to teach at Global Collegiate School while getting her Masters.
We are so proud. Here’s to Menuka and all the wonderful young women like her, at Ama Ghar and beyond!
