The Pushpanjali School Education Fair was one of the biggest events on our calendar last month. There were many new exhibits this year, and the principal complimented Ama Ghar for our enthusiastic supply of materials and ideas, which was helpful to them since extra curricular activities are a new concept in the Nepali school system.
The Fair took place on a sunny spring day, and everyone enjoyed explaining their exhibits, especially Rekha – she was very proud of the exhibit of clothes that she made with Uma Auntie.
The new school building and courtyard were a perfect venue and it was fun to see Menuka, our Ama Ghar alum, in her new job as a teacher at the school – full circle!
