    Our Intrepid Trekkers

    February 16, 2021

Our grownup Ama Ghar girls Samjhana and Akriti had a big adventure recently! They were invited to join a trek to the Kapuche Glacier Lake – a gorgeous spot in the Annapurnas not too far from Pokhara. At 8,681 feet, Kapuche is the lowest altitude of the virgin glacier lakes. Not hard to get to – and the scenery is incredible. Take a a vicarious trek with Samjhana and Akriti through these photos – and enjoy!

The team of trekkers salutes Machhapuchhre from the lake.
Samjhana and Akriti plant an Ama Ghar flag next to the Nepal flag!
Ever hiked across an ice bridge? The girls did!
Prayer flags mark the spot at this incredible Nepal destination.
And once you arrive, you have to make tea!
