Monsoon has finally arrived, bringing cooler temperatures – thank goodness – and an opportunity to play in the mud while helping out at rice harvest. We grow our own rice at Ama Ghar, which doesn’t come close to supplying all the rice we need, but it helps. And it’s so good for the children to help grow their food and participate in the rituals of rural life in Nepal.
