Aariti, age 11, and her younger sister came to us from the Terai. The girls were discovered by Ama Ghar alumna Sabita, who is now a Social Worker. She was working with a group and came upon the girls, whose parents both died of TB. Aariti is doing well in Class 2 and has settled into the daily life of Ama Ghar, which includes lots of dancing and game playing. She shows early independence and keeps her brothers in line.
