On April 15, all the Ama Ghar children, their friends and our neighbor children were invited to Ama Ghar for Bonnie Auntie’s 70th Birthday. A great time was had by all, including the birthday girl! Everyone had cake and ice cream, played musical chairs and other games.

Many of our older children who are living on their own came back to Ama Ghar to honor Bonnie at her party.

Later on in the week, on her actual birthday (April 19), Bonnie had a party for her many adult friends and colleagues in Kathmandu at 1905 Restaurant. The party was well attended, she received many well-deserved accolades and most importantly – it was great fun.
