A Scholarly Celebration

What a joyful celebration we had to honor our seven excellent students who passed their national exams (SLC) with distinction! We invited friends and family from around the Kathmandu Valley, and were joined by visitors from Head-Royce School in California. Everyone shared delicious local food like momos and dal baht, and there was singing, dancing, and lots of fun.

We are so proud of these students, all of whom are now assigned to institutions of higher education, where they have selected specialties ranging from computer science to hotel management to public health and languages. We’ll send you updates on specific students as the school year progresses. And a big thank you to all our donors and sponsors – without you, this would not be possible!

Parbati and Jenuka dance to celebrate our graduates.

Visitors from Head Royce helped create celebratory tee shirts and donated money for the graduates savings accounts. Thank you!
